Calling all theatre teaching artists, educators, and those who work with disabled and autistic populations:

Join us Saturday, August 27, 2022 for a 6-hour, hands-on professional development workshop in inclusive and accessible applied drama techniques designed to enhance social and emotional development.

Taught by drama and autism specialist and CADA’s Founding Artistic Director, Wendy Duke, along with professional improv artist and CADA’s Associate Director for Inclusion and Outreach, Ruben Ryan, this workshop is offered remotely in our Zoom studio and will cover techniques which work in the theatre, the classroom, and virtually.

Morning Session (9:00 AM - noon): Overview of Inclusive Drama Classes and Productions

—Establishing routines and developing curriculum

—Warm-ups and beginning exercises

—Providing mentoring through use of co-actors
